Way Of The Cross
INTRODUCTION
Mary the mother of Jesus made the first Way of the Cross. She stood with him throughout his passion and experienced the joy of his Resurrection.
Venerable Mary Potter helps us to see through the eyes of Mary what Jesus suffered on the way to Calvary. She enables us through her meditation on the passion of Jesus to walk with Him the last steps in the company of Mary.
Venerable Mary Potter commissioned a street artist to paint these beautiful paintings of the Way of the Cross. They were in the crypt in the chapel of the Maternal Heart, Little Company of Mary, Rome. Tradition has it that Mary Potter and her first companions daily prayed these stations as did our sisters in Rome throughout the years. They are part of our heritage which connects us with Mary Potter and her first companions.
